when you get out of the shower immediatly blow-dry your hair with a brush pulling it to straighten it.

Use cooking oil, leave it in your hair over night, **DO NOT WASH OUT**. This looks great, especially if you are blonde. Just blow dry and style. YOu'll be suddenly beautiful (which I'm sure is something you're not used to). :)
