First off, I'm a guy, and I can't really be bothered to use a flat iron. I have in the past, and it took too much time. However, I've tried letting my hair be natural (wavy,) but it dosen't work very well for me (it just puffs up and forms cowlicks and stuff.) I'm don't intend to use any chemicals or anything on my hair either. So, my question is, can I get straight hair just by using straighening shampoo/conditioner? I guess I could also blow dry it if needed...

Simple answer is no. Cut it short and blow dry is the easiest without using chemicals or irons.

I agree blow dry is an alternative. i will not damage your hair but it will last you about two weeks depending on how you keep it.
when you shower cover your hair.
just dont get it wet.
