I comb my hair in the morning but later during that day it starts puffing out.What i wanna know is any kind of tips hair products that could hold my hair straight the whole day in the form i originally comb it in. It lokks so nice when its wet and dont got those puffy curls.Somebody help me lol im a noob

Go to the nearest salon and buy the best gel you can afford. Ask a stylist (not the receptionist) what is the firmest gel they have, and buy it if it's in your price range. If not tell the stylist your price range and ask for a firm gel for that price. Do not buy gel from Target, the drug-store, the grocery store,the corner store, the gas station, Wal-Mart or any where else that is not a salon. Those gels contain low-grade alcohol that will dry out your hair beyond belief, also they build up on your hair and flake off everywhere.........Gross. Pony up the bucks, buy a good quality gel from a reputable salon, and don't forget to ask the stylist you speak to for directions on how to use it.

Do you have a flat iron? You can use a frixx ease syrum in your hair, towel dry and then use the flat iron to keep it straight.

Use products designed to keep hair frizz-free.

I use John Frieda "Frizz-Ease Hair Serum" and John Frieda "Frizz-Ease Downplay" (it reduces volume).

They both keep my hair ALOT less poofy!

Use a pallet brush and hold the blow dryer up to and dry it straight. and then when it is straight and dry... put either hair spray or moose in you hands and then put you hair in between your hands and run the product through you hair!

Sounds like a humidity problem (its still summer). Try a straightening serum when you blow dry, that definitely buys you some time. If its a -really- humid day, try using just a little bit (one squirt) of a medium-hold mousse. Tressemme has a cheapy one that works just fine for that purpose. Hopefully your blow dryer is ceramic, that makes a world of difference when it comes to keep hair frizz-free straight.
