Hair? How do you get your hair straight without the frizz?

So, how do you get your hair straight? I mean i've got dark brown hair thats wavy, and frizzy when i get out of the shower. So, i always spend an hour blow drying and then straightening my hair! i mean i want to look good so, that's why i do it an dif i just leave its.. like...o.m.g.s.h just frizzy crazy %26amp; ugly. Is there a faster why to get nice hair? I mean doesnt have to be straight just nice?! I need your help!

blow dry it straight first... use hairspray while your hair is stil wet and mess it all up.. then blow dry it as straight as you can with firm pressure using a comb or brush.....

then flat iron it on medium high section by section using alot of pressure..

The first thing to do is understand your hair type. If you have naturally curly, wavy hair, you will never be able to get it stick straight. NOOO blow drying is VERY bad for any hair! The only exception is blow drying bangs. Shampoo your hair with a thermal shampoo (one that protects your hair from heat damage) like Chi sold at Trade Secrets Salon and on the internet. Let your hair dry on its own and use your flat iron on Sections of hair. At your local CVS, Walmart or Target, you can probably find a heat protecting conditioner/spray. The Chi hair flat iron is amazing as well.

first of all-those of us with frizzy/curly hair should not cut any corners on keeping it healthy!

first you need to be using a shampoo that has an equal balance of moisture and protiens because hair gets so dry and brittle when its blow dried and straightened! and dont skimp on product! TRUST ME i recomend MATRIX smooth down system! they are in an orange bottle its awesome

Next you need a good styling product! you want to use something that has shine and friz control! i recomend REDKEN outshine is a versitile product that will help protect your hair from split ends and frizzyness! (the reason for this, the product heats up and then the product heats your hair)

and DO NOT SKIMP on a flat iron!!! a flat iron is important for us ladies with the not so straight hair. and dont spend any less than 60 bucks! NO JOKE!!!

even though it seems like a small forturne to buy these products, your hair will show its gratitude by not being so crazy!!!
