i have a prety good straightner it works just as well as a chi, just not namebrand, its a tourmaline. anyway i use it but it makes my hair like stick straight insteadof whispy straight and pretty like that, any suggestions on how to get that great hair?

Blow dry it straight with a round brush and then use the strightener to iron out any frizzies you have.

Use some manipulator by bed head. It will give it a pieced look. You can get a knock off brand at Sally's.

i use Pantene Smooth %26amp; sleek %26amp; glossy straightening gel and let me tell you... it works wonders... And its a coincidence that i have a tourmaline just as well as you do... all i do is before i straighten my hair when it is dry, i rub a dallop of the gel in my hands and they spread it all over my hair. Then, as i am straightening my hair, i gat the "whispy straight and pretty hair" that i assume you are wanting.
