Ok, I've had the same hair style since I can remember. Last week I've got long layers (I have mid-length hair). It's still plain and I want to give my hair style a kick. I have straight hair, but it's really puffy and has tons of split ends. I'm looking for any type of hair product to keep my hair really straight, flat, and in place for a whole day.
And to, in mid day, my hair is tangly. So have any ideas to help with my hair drama? If you like to see my hair in a pic, just ask :)
What hair products should I use to make my hair straight?

Well i kinda have the same problem but my hair is thick an curly..get a ceramic straightening iron that's at least 2inches wide, snip an inch or two off your hair so split ends don't travel up your hair (trust me on this,i let mine go and my split ends are half way up my hair) and the only thing that really helps MY hair look healthier, tamer and really good is the frizz ease products and less is more with that stuff..so grab any kind of stuff from them..even the cheapest stuff they got works great..and grab a detangling, frizz shampoo an conditioner..and another tip..if/when you blow dry your hair..dont blow dry it up..blow dry down..i see that alot of people do that and thier hair looks horrible later on down the line..well good luck girly..

If you like your hair straight, I would definately invest in a good iron (I recommend Hai). The heat and pressure from the iron will flatten the cuticle thus giving you smooth, very straight hair, also helps immensely with static. I've also had some luck with T3 or Hai dryers (The Ionic ones). Screw the whole ionic theory, but the fact that they are so hot and the air pressure is so low makes for a good combo when working with puffy hair. The less you 'rough up' the cuticle the smooth it will be.
As for products I personally like Bumble and Bumble. You can use a few drops of defrizz drops when the hair is damp and style as usual. The silicon gloss will coat the hair's surface preventing it from 'expanding'. Also using a hairspray that is resistant to humidity when the hair is dry is helpful. But the best bet is to style it with good tools, at least in my experience.
