Alright, I don't know if asking this will do me any good cause it might just be my hair, but I'm going to anyways. When I flat iron my hair it's really straight, but when I go outside for more than 10 minutes (like when i walk to class) the ends curve outwards. This usually only happens when it's really humid.
Does anyone know of any hair product or technique that might keep my hair straight? I tried hair spray, so don't suggest that.
Thanks! %26lt;3
Hair product that keeps flat-ironed hair straight!?
I was going to suggest Garnier Sleek and Shine Anti-Humidity hairspray... They have a whole line of anti-humidity products.
I know how you feel though, I live in good ole humid Alabama!

That happenms to me sometimes too. I usually have to hold the straightner on my ends for a couple more seconds than I usually do to keep them straight. Then I water them down a little bit.
I don't know if it will work for you, but it works for me.

First, are you using any kind of heat protecting product on your hair before you iron it? You should be so that you aren't damaging it - then you'll have "breakage" issues on your hand.
Check out Aveda - they make a product you use in your hair that actually deflects humidity from causing your hair to frizz, curl, etc. Either go to your local Aveda salon, or go on line to aveda.com
**Don't hold the iron longer on your ends! You're going to fry your hair doing that!!!!

maxius has two products to use with their straightener that really work. they are "beyond straight" and "the end". you put them in your hair when it is damp, let it dry and then straighten. it really does work.

Use a silicon serum - I use "Silk" by Chi, buy in a hair salon or beauty supply. Apply it while your hair is wet from showering, my hair is about six inches past my shoulders, I use about a penny sized spot. After styling (straightening iron) I sometimes use a silicon finishing spray - I use "Biosilk" by Farouk, also in a beauty salon or beauty supply. Use it sparingly. They cost more than store products but they last forever, and I can guarantee you they work. You may find you don't need the finishing spray - see if the serum alone does it for you.
