look at the picture, c the girl on the RIGHT? i want to get my hair that straight. i already use a straightner, but what are some good products (that are afordable) That i can use to get my hair as smooth and straight as hers. ALSO, even though i DONT have bangs, wen i part my hair on the side i seem to get some flyaways, what product works well for that, i heard icecubes work well but i strongly doubt that, so DONT say ice cubes please. =)))
A Straight Hair Question. Please Only Answer If You Do It!?
Start out by using a big round brush and blow dry while pulling brush through hair. Then use a CHI straightener (around $110.00) which I promise it is the best straightener you will ever own. That will totally do the job for you.
A Straight Hair Question. Please Only Answer If You Do It!?
This is the way I get my hair the straightest. I've been straightening it for like 8 years! :)
1- Blow-dry straight.
2- Get clips so you can separate your hair into sections.
3- Straighten hair bit by bit with an iron. For super-straight hair, straighten a section, then spray it with hairspray and straighten it again. The hairspray will make it pretty much needle-straight. I like Fructis hairspray, because over the course of a day it gets softer but still keeps hair straight and doesn't turn into nasty white clumps.
It doesn't really matter what type of iron you use, they all do the same thing. The only thing you should look for is a straightening iron with wide plates, because the more surface area it has, the quicker it will straighten your hair. With a narrow iron you have to go super-slowly...
Oh, and for flyaways, I like to use wax. I use Fructis's (I like that brand!) reworkable paste. It's flexible and it's also heavy, so it pulls flyaway hair down w/ gravity.
A Straight Hair Question. Please Only Answer If You Do It!?
Well there's a lot of products you could use without stretching you budget
1.L'Oreal Paris Studio Line Full Of It Foam Spray-$5 at drug stores
2.John Frieda Frizz-Ease 100% Shine Glossing Mist $6 at drugstores
3.Bumble and Bumble Straight $11 at bumbleandbumble.com.
4. Magic Move Soft $30 at amazon.com
5.Pantene Pro-V Relaxed %26amp; Nature Daily Oil Cream Moisturizer $4 at drugstores
Now how to use them and what there for. The first ones for volume so it wont look boring. The second is a shine spray. The third is to help it go striaght and make it stay straight without the stiffness and stickiness of hairspray. The fourth is for those annyoing flyaways. And 5 to prevent damage like split ends and dryness. Now how to use it.
First you add the Pantene Leave in conditioner to damp hair. Next add L'Oreal Volume and Straightening gel running threw hair with fingers. . Blow dry hair on medium heat until dry pointing nozel topwards ground to prevent frizz, while runnign fingers threw hair. Straighten hair with a straightener such as a salon one or Revlon styles. Than spray shine spray lightly around the head area
Hope that helps!
