well this might seem like an idiotic question and I'm guessing that the answer will be no.... but just in case I have really curly hair and I just got it straightened at a salon so it looks really great. I had previosly done research about Japanese Thermal Straighteners and had read that you put a chemical in it, flat iron it, and then put this kind of sealer on it so that the hair stays permanently straight. What I want to know is, although at the moment there are no chemicals in my hair and its just flat ironed straight, is there any product that could seal in the straight look to keep it straight permanently? or even when its wet? or atleast for longer against humidity? help please!
Keeping my hair straight??
i have naturally curly hair too
and i like to straighten it a lot
but
without chemicals
theres nothing really that can permanently straighten your hair.
if you like, you can get a relaxer, which yes, is chemicals in your hair, but it doesnt keep it as straight and isnt as expensive as japanese straightening.
it loosens your curls a little so its easier to straighten
but its also good
because if you change your mind and want to wear it curly sometimes,
it still has some curls.
you can try certain shampoos that start your look in the shower for example
john frieda shampoos.
they have different products for if you want your hair straight or curly without using anything bad for your hair....
good luck!
