When I get flat iron my hair it doesn't come out pin straight maybe because I don't use any thing.Maybe if some could tell me how to get my dead pin straight. some products to use also. ;0 thankx

One reason your hair may not get as straight as you want it could be that your iron isn't hot enough but you should use styling products that could add to the problem. I suggest you use a styling gel, if you have thick or curly hair or a styling mousse, if you have thin or fine hair. Blow dry your hair as straight as you can as this will help your iron along, after its dry use a product called Shine Infusion by CHI it makes your hair shiny, de-frizzes and protect your hair from the heat of blow drying and ironing, it is a great product I use it everyday on my clients, spray a little in your hair but not too much or it will look greasy, and then section your hair into two sections top and bottom, then on the bottom section take small pieces at a time, going slowly down the hair shaft (not too slow or you will see alot of smoke, that's not good) and continue this around the whole head and the finish of with a light hairspray to keep it in place and that's it. hope this helps

I never had any luck with inexpensive flat irons that you get in a drugstore. Then I bought a good-quality ceramic one (HAI) and that did the trick. I don't think those drugstore ones get hot enough. And my hair isn't curly, just really wavy.

use a bit of frizz serum [i use frizz-ease serum from john freida, they have it at the drugstores]. work a little in your ends before you straighten it. it'll look oily, but a HOT [i use 400 degrees, it seems high but the serum helps protect your hair] straightener will eliminate that and leav you with pin-straight hair. let each section you straighten cool a bit, then blow dry the ends it on a COOL setting to lock in the straight...ness. :] good luck

yep i have to agree with the ceramic straightner..not cheap but it will save you lots of time and effort, its always good 2 2 use something in it that will protect it from the heat so when you use anything with heat in your hair a lot it wont dry out and damage your hair!!

k well if your hair isnt naturally straight i wont ever b like tha lol jus as my hair cant be perfectly straight unless i comb it down flat after i get outta the shower an put sum hair wax only a bit cuz it would make it greasy an then tie it back an straighten it take lil by lil usually it takes me bout a hour for my hair too look as straight as i can get it
