my hair is wavy and short well not short about the length of my index finger. i usually wear a beanie before i go to bed and i wake up with straight hair a bit wavy but it's ok. i thought i'll get it blow dried straight at a salon, how long does it last ? i wash my hair every other day.

if you just blow dry your hair straight it will only last until the next time you wash your hair. then you will have to either let it be wavy, or blow dry it straight again.

it will last until wet... unless u live somewhere where u cant friggin stay away from humidity.... lol... i hate it... i have thick naturally curly hair and i try to straighten it as much as possible but when i dont it looks like crap... i havent found anything to work b/c of the humidity. any help for me?

Getting hair blow-dried straight at a salon is good, because it will make the hair stay staight longer. It will last until your next shampoo. I also reccommend getting it straightened while you are there. That'll make it extra-straight.

Blow drying straight is ok but you need products. Find straightning gels, sprays, etc. The best thing is the straight iron. That will usually last until you wash it. You can use the straight iron on wavy hair.

or buy a blwdrier yourself, if you hair is that short it should take five minutes to blow it straight and dry everyday

If you are african american you shouldn't wash your hair this often. You could be depriving your hair of the nutrients our hair needs. Washing your hair this often could make your hair: dry, brittle, and doing this can make your hair at more risk of getting split ends which can cause your hair to break off and it probably won't grow properly.
