How can you curl completely straight hair..?

My hair is completely straight natuarlly. When i go to the hairdressers and get it curled or curl it myself with a curling iron it doesnt stay in very long before it just turns right back into almost perfectly straight hair all on it's own. When i get out of thet shower and sortove twist my hair up and tie it up weith hair elastics, and sleep with it like that, then in the morning it turns out nice, but it isn't curly like i want it. Does anyone know anyway i can get my straight hair to have small ringlettes in it, just by doing it myself at my house?

1.) Wash your hair with curl-enhancing shampoo and conditioner.

2.) Make sure your hair is completely dry.

3.) Use a curling iron (get one with a small diameter if you want small, tight curls; larger diameter (1.5 inch is good) if you want big, soft curls) on your hair - take a small bit of your hair and wind it around the iron (full strength/heat). Hold it to the count of 15. Do this until you're done with good-sized bit of your hair and use a maximum strength hairspray to keep the curls in.

My hair is very resistant to curling and this works for me, so I hope it works for you, too! =)

u should get a perm that lasts for at least 6 months.

I don't really agree with getting a perm. Then you will never get to experience variety with your hair. If you hair doesn't work with a curling iron, I recommend curling like 3 curls and spraying it with hair spray. Then do another 3 curls, and so on. If that doesn't work, try using rollers. They twist you hair, and you can just leave then in while you get ready. Then right before you leave, just gently unroll them, and you have gorgeous curls. Then I would recommend hair spray. Or you could use Curlysexyhair Shampoo and conditioner, and curl boosting products. Hope that helped!

use those ringlets things, and then apply heat w a hair dryer...this method is less harmful to the hair than the curling iron one.

however the curling iron one works the best, so curl your hair using that and put hairspray in yur hair so the humid weater does not weigh them down. also try curling creames or leave in conditioner.

try garnier fructis, they work really well.
