Hi...As a former hairdresser and someone who has thin straight hair: A cut that is angled upward from chin length to nape of neck works well. For the summer I get it cut right at the hairline in the back. It is also slightly layered and the ends fringed to prevent layers from making those ugly lines. Side or middle part and on side sometimes behind my ear.

Ask people out of the street where they got their hair cut if you like a certain style! :)
