Dirtyblonde straight hair-how to make it lighter and dif ways to wear it?

i have two questions- see my hair is a dirty blonde but i have some natural highlights that really show well just in the summer. is there some way to make my hair lighter in color or at least the highlights w/o dying it or using the salon? like any kind of products in stores? and i also wanted to know how i should wear my hair. its straight and angled and layered and goes a little past my shoulders. i wear it in ponytails a lot but i also like it down-the problem is is that it looks a little blah. how can i fix that and what are other ways to wear my hair

thank you

First, try the "Pantene" hair care line. They have some shampoos for blonde colors also. If you don't like the Pantene line, there are other companys too. Second, try wearing your hair lightly curled or spiraled. When your done "curling", used your fingers the separate the curls to give that "natural" look.

home highlighting does entail bleaching, but it can be pretty easy to do if you are patient.

There are products like fresh raw lemon juice and sunlight, or products like "sun-in" type lighteners, but they are very very harsh on the hair.

The actual bleach and highlighting with products from from the beauty supply store is the best way to go. Just remember that you must condition your hair regularly after this sort of treatment.

DOING ALL THESE SOMETIMES IS FINE, AS REGULARLY USING CHEMICALS CAN DAMAGE HAIR, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SAY THAT IT IS ALREADY BLAH! THERE ARE BLEACHING AGENTS AND HERBS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET, BUT FIRST YOU HAVE TO CONDITION YOUR HAIR WELL TO USE THESE PRODUCTS, REMEMBER.....SOMETIMES ONLY!

NAGARMUTH,ORANGE PEELS ETC CAN MAKE HAIR LIGHT. ALSO LEMON JUICE, HYDROGEN AND AMMONIA ETC MAKE HAIR LIGHT. YOU CAN MAKE USE OF IT AWAY FROM THE ROOTS AND THEN USE DIFFERENT BLENDS OF COLOUR OR HIGHLIGHTS TO TINT THE LOWER PORTIONS OF YOUR HAIR. HAVE A SHORT HAIR CUT ABOVE YOU SHOULDERS AND HAVE A SLIGHT STEP CUT.

try using a shampoo made especially for blonde hair some kinds actually work and make the hair a little bit lighter! For hair styles you could try curling your hair, which always looks great! If you have a lot of time in the morning you could buy a conair streaking thing I

don't remember what they're called but they have a bunch of different colors and theyn put color streaks in hair. You can always wear a bun, which is pretty easy. Also try wearing pigtails it sounds a little babyish, but on some people it looks great! Try getting someone to french braid your hair people did that a lot last year at my school. I'm not sure if this will help but take a look at it for some ideas

Use a product with chamomile and sunflower in it, both known to bring out blonde hair. And be sure to keep it very clean all the time; we dark blondes tend to have really dirty looking hair if it it's unwashed even for a day.
