What can I do with my pin straight hair??

Okay, my hair is thin, flat, and pin straight!

Can you please tell me how to scrunch??

I have tried to scrunch with mousse, gel, hairspray.

Once I used a curling spray and hairspray mix, but it only lasted about 1 1/2 hours!!

I want something that would last all day.

And my hair is super flat. Is there anyway to give it more volume??

Are there any other fun things to do with my hair??

Please give me instructions for my hair type, not the normal hair type!!

Thanks a bunch!!

Straight hair - nice curls ?

I am so fed up !

My face only looks good with a wave in my hair and my hair is naturally dead straight + just hangs there.

What low maintenance way can I style my hair in order to give it curls or a soft wave ? I like volume at the top of my head.

Could I put it in buns the night before or something then just take it out in the morning ??? Yet how could I get the volume on top ?

Thanks !!!

Straight hair - nice curls ?

Put curlers in your hair every night, and just take out and style in the morning...

Straight hair - nice curls ?

If your hair is long enough make a pony tail on top of your head walk aorund for an hour or two then take it off

Straight hair - nice curls ?

I would suggest using hot rollers.

If your looking for volume at the top I would buy some root lifting product and either blow dry it or ratt it.

Straight hair - nice curls ?

if you roll your hair into a sloppy bun on the crown on your head and clip it while its damp til it dries you get nice volume. but i feel that i always get the best volume when i blow dry. sometimes i do both the bun and blow dry.

Straight hair - nice curls ?

There are different styling products that can build volume to hair - try your market.

Or curlers. I have naturally curly hair and if I go to bed at night with damp hair - it is much more curly in the morning.

Straight hair - nice curls ?

hi, after washing your hair put it in big plaits and sleep on it, next morning it should be lovely and wavy, then scrunch volume mousse into it with your head upside down!

i hope you get what i mean!

Straight hair - nice curls ?

It seems you got some good advice for the curls. For volume, try hanging your head upside down and using a blow-dryer to "lift" your hair at the roots?

Straight hair - nice curls ?

wash or just wet ur hair then put it in a french braid the night b4 then crinkle it in the morning and it should b curlier n da morning. Good Luck =D

Straight hair - nice curls ?

Put your hair up in a pony-tail on top of your head(like karolinka b said) but to get the curls braid it wet .

Straight hair - nice curls ?

Here are some choices:

- you can put large rollers (for waves) or medium size rollers (for regular curls) in at night (when your hair is still damp, but not soaked) and then take them out in the morning

- when you get out of the shower let your hair dry naturally for about 1-1/2 hours and then blow dry it with the diffuser on it.

-do whatever you usually do with your hair and then in the morning use a curling iron to curl it. for waves let the curls cool for about 15 minutes and then gently brush them out.

-when your hair is still wet at night, put french braids (or regular braids) in and take them out at night.

For volume, when you get out of the shower use a volumizing mousse (I really like Aussie Real Volume mousse). If you blow dry your hair, tip your head upside down and dry it regurally after your hair is about 75% dry (it still works if you have a diffuser on it).

Curling iron for super straight hair?

My hair is super straight and thick. At a dance competition, I had to curl my hair. So i used a curling iron but it hardly made it curl. Does anyone know of an very high quality curling iron that will work for me? Also, it has to be affordable. Thank you!

Curling iron for super straight hair?

Well it doesnt matter the curling iron.

Just try putting some curling mousse, gel or creme after you shower and blow dry.

The put some more mousse, curl strands for a long time if your hair is that fickle and straight for about 1-2 minutes.

How do i scrunch straight hair?

i have relatively straight hair. i've tried scrunching it with gel with my hands while its damp but that trick doesn't work for me. i don't want to buy curlers or a curling iron because they take too long. and i don't want to braid my hair bc that does not give me the look i'm trying to achieve.

How do i scrunch straight hair?

After you get out of the shower you brush it, then take some of Curls Rock- Curl Amplifier #5 by Tigi( the bottles blue and says catwalk on it) rub it throughout yout hair and then take ur hair from the bottom and scrunch it to the top. Wash your hands afterword because the cream is a little sticky--hope this helped : )

How do i scrunch straight hair?

buy a defuser...it only cost like 5 bucks at walmart..put the defuser on the end of your hair dryer and flip your head over after you have put gel in your hair. put the dryer to the ends of your hair and scrunch up with the dryer..spray with Aussie sprunch spray or a good hairspray as your doing this and it should help a lot. My friend has stick straight hair and i made it curly doing it this way. hope this helps...xoxo

How do i scrunch straight hair?

You can try curl enhancing mousse. Some hair types respond better to mousse than gel. Or you can try a mixture of the two. It works differently for different people.

How do i scrunch straight hair?

Try Paul Mitchell Foaming Pommade. You do use it while your hair is wet. It works wonders.

How do i scrunch straight hair?

big loose braids , on damp hair, let dry , unbraid. do not brush! add some scrunch spray , grab hair from the ends and scruch up with hands.(if u do the braids to tight it will look funny)

How do i scrunch straight hair?

You stick your head under the fossit and get it really wet like....all of it then ;; you lift it up then put a towel in it then take it out then DONT brush it....then you put gel in your hands then;; you just start to SCRUNCH it.

How do i scrunch straight hair?

Hair that is perfectly straight needs to be altered chemically if you don't want to have any extra hair care work. A body perm with the largest rod available rolled vertically will give you some movement without curl. There are brown or orange rods that may give you what you want.

Also, a little layering takes the weight off the ends allowing the hair some freedom to move around. If you have any natural curl in your hair that could help do the trick. If you have one length hair and don't want to layer it , you can have your stylist cut in a bricking method of texturizing so if you want, you can still brush it straight and not be able to see the texture in it.

Any product designed to "finish" hair that has a word such as "texturizing" are the products you want . Ask your hairstylist to help you with your texture of hair and the appropriate products for it. A picture of the desired finished look always helps me see what my clients want. (You squeeze hair up from the bottom to scrunch.) Good luck.

I always just put my hair in a pony tail and curl it but i am tired of the same old look every day! (And i think everyoneelse is also!) But i have to have my hair up for work! any ideas what else i can do with it ?

OK,I have light brown straight hair.?

OK,I have light brown straight hair.?

a messy bun(it looks good if you do it the right way)

OK,I have light brown straight hair.?

My advice is to buy the current allure and look at their advice for making loose curls. They are very trendy and easy to do. If you are not able to buy allure, just try buying a mouse that enhances curls and scrunch your hair so that you have very natural and loose curls that you can wear alone, in a side ponytail, or with a chunky headband. Hope this helps :)
