Straight Hair!!!!?

Okay.. I have the straightest hair anyone could ever have! I try to use a curling iron and my hair becomes flat again within an hour! I want my hair to curl but it just wont!!!!

Do any of yall have some ideas or suggestions about wut I could do?!?

i have the same hair as you too. what you can do is after you take a shower when your hair is wet, braid your hair to have a crimped effect. if you dont want that, you can buy these things called s'poodles. they're like little cylindrical sponge things, and you tie your hair in them when its wet. when you take it out when your hair is dry, you get (surprisingly) beautiful curls!! it looks proffesional and everything! another thing may be to lightly spray your hair with hairspray after you curl your hair. if you do it far away and lightly, you wont have a helmet head and curls will stay. hope this helped!

my hair's the same way, but tresemme makes products that keeps the heat in the hair. this keeeps in curl in for like 10 hours.

curling iron. try going to the salon and have it curled. it has to work. try cahnging your shampoo and use conditioner.

this is the same thing that happens to me! oh my goodness..what do people do...i dont put stuff in my hair...but when i do...it doesnt help much!

By your avatar im asuming you have brown hair... Go to a beauty suppoly store and buy a gold barrel curling iron. Look for some sculpting gel.. They make this gel for african american that is brown ... Put it on the ends of your hair and then curl it. Hold it until its dry... It works like a charm .. .Thats how they keep their hair curled .... SOunds funny but I promise you it will work. you can also use palmade

its in a gold can.

it works reallly good

put it in curlers and before you are putting them in spray each strand.

and then spray it when you take them out.

but make sure the cooled down for a while. of it will fall.

and then spray it a lot.

then separate the pieces so it doesnt look all cement like

use some moose and some hair spray and scrunch it up.....that helps sometimes or u can get a wavy or curly perm

While the curling iron is wrapped around your hair, spray hair spray on it to set the curl. The same thing for hot rollers. While the rollers are in, spray your hair.

hairspray RIGHT before you put the curler in ur hair....thats the best i got.

try putting this stuff called "curl booster" in your hair then like take it all up on the top of your hear like all messy, %26amp; get like a hat %26amp; put it on to keep your hair up %26amp; then when it drys take it off %26amp; see if its curly.. i did it to my friend %26amp; she has pretty straight hair %26amp; it worked. lol

Well, try using hairspray once you're done curling it! I would also try, once you get out of the shower....twist your hair around your fingers till it dries! or put it in a low side ponytail and twist all your hair around you fingers till it dries!!! Hope that helps!

i suggest scrunching it with really strong curling gel hair spray and moose then putting it up in a messy bun till it dries, its a long process for people with super str8 hair but its better than a curling iron cause with that the curls will come right out and your hair will just look flat and frizzy.

o yes and i dont think u wanna get a perm it will ruin the hair and take forever to go back to normal.

I know it's really cliche but you should embrace your hair! My hair is naturally thick and curly/wavy and I devote so much time just to get it pin straight (not to mention cause alot of damage to my hair). I would honestly kill for your hair. You could always get a new haircut that makes your straight hair look even better. Buf if you do want some curl or volume... mousse should help as well as volumizing shampoo and conditioner.

Have a friend who knows how to do hair give you an a home perm. They're really cheap and don't turn out as strong as salon perms, at least not for me.

Where do you live? Every time I travel to the South, my hair falls out the moment I step out the door. But here in California, we don't have humidity problems. But my hair used to always fall out. Now I use a professional hairspray and it stays!! Try Joico OR BigSexyHair. They're more pricey but they STAY! spray before and after curling.

ok my friend has the exact same problem you find rollers and you put them in your hair about 1 hour 30 mins and apply alot of hair spray then wene you take them out just flip your hair and spray your hair with hairspray maximum hold wone more time and there you go!!

part ur hair in 4 qudrants when its damp, add a lil gel and braid it tight, sleep with it overnight, if its still damp in the mornin blow dry it a lil before u let the braids down. roll it in sponge rollers tightly when its damp, take em out n finger the curls when they dry
